Marina Bay

Singapore's reclaimed-land financial core — the MAS, MBFC and the Sands.

Marina Bay, built on land reclaimed from the sea between the 1970s and 2000s, is the modern centre of Singapore finance. It hosts the Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) towers — anchoring DBS, Standard Chartered Asia, and Barclays — alongside the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Singapore Exchange. Singapore is now ranked behind only New York, London and Hong Kong among global financial centres.
