Origin
Central has been Hong Kong's commercial centre since the 1840s. HSBC's first building on Queen's Road dates to 1865; the modern Foster-designed HSBC Main Building opened in 1985. Two ifc (the taller of the Two International Finance Centre towers) opened in 2003.
