Porta Nuova

Milan's modern banking quarter — UniCredit's twisted spire.

Porta Nuova is Milan's redeveloped business district between the Garibaldi and Repubblica stations. It hosts UniCredit's headquarters under the dramatic UniCredit Tower, the headquarters of BPER, Generali (also major presence in Trieste), and the offices of several international banks. The Borsa Italiana and Mediobanca remain in the more historic Piazza Affari district, but Porta Nuova is the city's modern face.
