Greenwich

Hedge fund row — the leafy suburb where US hedge funds cluster.

Greenwich, Connecticut is roughly 30 miles north-east of Manhattan and is the densest hedge-fund cluster in the United States. Its appeal is a combination of low Connecticut state income tax (relative to New York and New Jersey at the top of the post-2008 cycle), Metro-North access, and a small set of office parks that put twenty-plus billion-dollar funds within a short drive of one another.
